Who is eligible for Membership?
Homeowners and renters with a long-term lease (12 months or more) in the Wymberley Subdivision of Isle of Hope who live on one of the following streets. Avenue of Pines, Fallowfield Drive, Noble Glen Drive, Bransby Drive, Flinn Drive, Richmond Drive, Colonel Estill Avenue, Henderson Avenue, Romney Place, Diana Drive, Nancy Place, Wymberly Pt Rd, Dorothy Drive.
Am I able to pay by Check?
Yes, you can! You still need to fill out a membership registration so we have your contact information. Click here to fill out a check registration. Checks will be accepted at Yacht Club events such as the annual meeting, Oyster Roast, etc. To arrange to drop a check off outside of a Yacht Club event please fill out the form and email info@wymberleyyachtclub.org to coordinate a time to drop off the check and receive your key. I'm all paid up, how do I get a key?
The best time to get a key is at the yearly oyster roast when the lock is first switched out or at other yacht club events. Outside of events, members who register online or who have had their check deposited can email info@wymberleyyachtclub.org to arrange to meet with a board member to pick up their key or have one dropped off.
How do I get a boat sticker?
To use the dock, all boats must have a boat sticker and belong to a current Wymberley Yacht Club member. Boat stickers are a one time fee of $5. They're only available to be used on a boat owned by the registered member. In the event of a boat sale please return or destroy the sticker and let the Board know that sticker is no longer active by emailing info@wymberleyyachtclub.org. The best time to get a boat sticker is when you're joining or renewing your membership by using this form; otherwise contact the board at info@wymberleyyachtclub.org to arrange payment.
Am I able to let a family member who doesn't live in Wymberley use the dock?
Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times. Vessels not belonging to a member are not allowed at the dock.
Can I get a prorated membership?
No, the membership is yearly and the cost is fixed no matter when you join. New members are subject to a $25 first time registration fee. Renewing memberships are payable January 1 of each year, subject to a 30 day grace period.
Can I host an event at the dock?
Planned events must be requested and approved by the Commodore and may require additional fees depending on event type. Email info@wymberleyyachtclub.org with your event details and a member of the Board of Stewards will contact you about your event.
What's the maximum size boat I can keep at the dock?
According to current Wymberley Yacht Club docking rules, the maximum size is 20'. Click here to download a copy of the Boating and Dockage rules.
